In 2015 WGN Scan Sdn Bhd has been offered an opportunity by Minister, Dato’ Sri Ismail Sabri from the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development to become the anchor tenant and main supplier for products at Mara Digital Kuala Lumpur. Enthusiastically Wan Mohamad Zaffuan Wan Mohamad Zin accept the opportunity. He may be young but he demonstrated great skills and capabilities. Despite all the controversies during the launching of Mara Digital Kuala Lumpur, WGN Scan Sdn Bhd achieved a turnover of RM18.4 million from rental and retails activities. Currently there are over 40 tenants operating in Mara Digital Kuala Lumpur and the figure is still increasing.

Further into his journey, aside from managing his own business, he is also given the responsibility to take charge of the family business. He is appointed as the managing director at D’Aquarian (M) Sdn Bhd
, a marine engineering solutions provider to Royal Malaysian Navy. D’Aquarian Sdn Bhd has four subsidiaries, Prosontech, a minarets telco transmission service providers in Perak, WGN Scan Sdn Bhd the anchor tenant of Mara Digital Kuala Lumpur and D’Aquarian Services Sdn Bhd a service centre for navy engines and radar.

During his youth, Wan Mohamad Zaffuan Wan Mohamad Zin grows up admiring his father Dato’  Hj. Wan Mohamad Zin who is also a successful entrepreneur for over 20 years. Inspired by his father’s passion and care for his family business, Wan Mohamad Zaffuan Wan Mohamad Zin is determined to be as inspiring as his father. Besides his father, the founder of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg also plays a big part in forging Wan Mohamad Zaffuan Wan Mohamad Zin‘s young heart to be passionate, smart in business dealings, people and most importantly humble just like his role model Mark Zuckerberg
.

Due to his friendly and humble nature he have great social networks. People who works with him is always inspired by his passion and determination. Hence, he was awarded the Top 100 Most Influences Young Entrepreneurs (MIYE) in 2017. It was such a great honour for him to receive such prestigious award thus it has become his motivation to do better and at the same time he wants to promote and encourage the younger generation to be an entrepreneur.

Aside from pouring his passion into his business life. Wan Mohamad Zaffuan Wan Mohamad Zin loves sports, he never fail to play a round of football or two with his friends during his free time. Mr. Zaffuan is also an activist and a sponsor for the Bunga Tanjung Paintball Sports Club, Subang City Football Club and Protap FC.

Mr. Zaffuan’s current mission is to launch the opening of the 4th Level of Mara Digital Kuala Lumpur. Giving Mara digital a touch of family friendly space for the consumers of Mara Digital with restaurants, gaming cafes, and opening more opportunities for bumiputera food vendors. Besides seeing the success of Mara Digital, he also wishes to see D’Aquarian to have a shipyard in future. The most rewarding aspect of being an entrepreneur is not only experiencing the success of his companies but inspiring people and being able to see their success is one truly delightful experience.
